Performance Management Presentation (Benchmark Assessment)

Performance management systems vary from institution to institution and company to company. Selecting the correct system to apply to an institution requires careful analysis. In this assignment, you will analyze a performance management system and prepare a presentation of your analysis.

General Requirements:

  • Use speaker notes to provide additional information and justification for your bullet points.
  • While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
  • You are not required to submit this assignment to Turnitin.

Directions:

Read “Performance Management at the National Institute of Management” and create a PowerPoint presentation with a minimum of 15 slides that includes the following related to the case study:

  1. An overview of the advantages and disadvantages of the existing performance management system. Has the current system failed to address organizational objectives satisfactorily? What are the short-term and long-term implications of the current system on the organization and faculty?
  2. A comparison of the perspectives of the various stakeholders, particularly the board of directors and faculty. How might you align the two perspectives?
  3. A summary of the performance management cycle stages through which the organization goes. Identify what stages seem to be excluded and how this impacts subsequent stages of performance management.

Two key suggestions that the director should take including suggestions for incentives that would motivate employee performance and utilize that workforce to enhance an organization’s human capital talent in order to drive successful business results.

Take into consideration every element that might affect how you interpret the piece of text for your art. What is your cultural lens through which you are reading the text?

  1. Unit IV Scholarly Activity

    Art Creation and Analysis

Your task is to create a piece of art that reflects a text that has some meaning to you. The art can be in any form you can imagine. You can paint, draw, sing, perform a dance, take a photo, make pottery, make a collage with magazine pictures, create a meal, or whatever you can think of. You can use any text that is important to you. It can be a religious text, but it does not have to be. You could use a poem, a song, a newspaper story, a letter from an old friend, or anything else that has some value to you.

You do not have to be an artist to do this assignment and you do not have to be an expert in symbolism. The point of this assignment is to see the connection between art and religion by creating your own art and your own symbolism. By participation in the analysis of a text based on your beliefs of what it means and creating a work of art based on those beliefs, you might better be able to analyze works of art and their connection to religion.

PHL 2350, Philosophies of World Religions 3

Consider what you read in the Unit III lecture concerning exegesis. Take into consideration every element that might affect how you interpret the piece of text for your art. What is your cultural lens through which you are reading the text? (Think back to your spiritual autobiography in Unit I.) Who is the author of the text? What is the author’s culture? Who was the intended audience of the text and what is their culture like? What is the purpose of the format of the text (Scripture, poem, story, etc.)? What is the grammar and sentence structure like? These are all elements to consider as you analyze your chosen text.

Follow each step in the list below.

Choose a text to analyze. (It can be as small as one or two sentences from a piece of work. You do not need to choose an entire piece of work, as that would be too much to contain in one piece of art.)

Read the text several times and write a short summary of what it means to you. This can be just a list or words. Consider this to be a brainstorming activity.

Decide what form of art you think would best convey the meaning the text has for you. Ask your professor if you have any questions about whether or not what you want to create would be considered art for the purposes of this assignment.

Create the piece of art. (Try to make it something fairly simple that will not take up too much time using whatever supplies you might have around the house.)

Write an essay, at least 250 words in length, explaining the choices you made with your art and how each choice reflects the text you chose. Be sure to consider the list of exegetical questions provided in the paragraph above.

Submit your essay. As we are in an online setting, you will need to take a digital picture of your art and include it

with the essay document. Only one document can be submitted. If you have created something on the computer, you can copy and paste that into the essay document. If you have created something on the internet, such as a YouTube video, you can provide the link in the essay document. Be sure to contact your professor via email if you have any issues with submission.

I believe that if they accept me to study abroad it will help me experience the different types of cultures and people. ( I really don’t know what else to say)

I am applying to take , a psychology course in Abu dhabi. My 2nd and 3rd choices are all history courses. maybe you can say something like I want to know where History comes alive. or something of that sense.

Identify systems that would help in capturing, processing, and providing the data required for those reports.

State Reporting Requirements for Hospitals

Hospitals must report certain types of information to their state department of health and other state agencies. The specific requirements differ from state to state, and can change over time as well. What remains constant, however, is the need for efficient and accurate methods for meeting these reporting requirements.

To prepare for this Discussion research the statutory requirements for hospital reporting in your state, or another state of interest to you. The National Academy for State Health Policy report in this week’s Learning Resources will provide a good start to your research, but you should do further exploration to fill out your understanding of the state reporting requirements by hospitals in your selected state.

With these requirements in mind, consider the following:

  • What data are needed to fulfill these reporting requirements?
  • Select a particular type of hospital, such as a small community hospital or a large urban facility within a multi-state hospital system, and identify challenges this institution might encounter in complying with these requirements.
  • Review the health information systems you have learned about so far in this course, and do further exploration, as needed, to identify systems that would help in capturing, processing, and providing the data required for those reports.

Post by Day 4 a response to the following:

  • Summarize the state’s reporting requirements for hospitals.
  • Analyze challenges that these requirements might pose to your selected type of hospital.
  • Propose which hospital IT systems might be used to produce the data necessary for these reports. If multiple systems could be used, select which one you think is best and state why.
  • Briefly, describe at least one way in which these reporting requirements contribute to the public’s health, and one way in which this reporting benefits the organization providing the data.

Develop a Risk Response Plan with a Risk Response Strategy, potential triggering event if possible, and a well-developed and well-stated Response Action

If you noticed, there is no template provided for this week’s assignment.  In the past, I have found that this has caused confusion.  There are many different types of risk register in use each with its own purpose and use.  If it helps, I have provided an example of a common type of risk register and placed a copy in docsharing.  The first 8 rows are typically hidden and used for drop down lists to control the data being input.  For this assignment, I have made them visible but for most of the cells have removed the restrictions.  Many of the columns have comments attached, so review them first.   You can use this template if you want or you can develop your own.

In either case: Here is what I am looking for:

  • You will need 10 risks described using the risk metalanguage. Make any corrections to the metalanguage based on my comments in prior assignments.
  • Each Risk should have a qualitative Probability and Impact and the Risk Matrix should be marked appropriately
  • Develop a Risk Response Plan with a Risk Response Strategy, potential triggering event if possible, and a well-developed and well-stated Response Action.
