Situation Analysis – External Report

The content, Organization, support and development of ideas, grammar, vocabulary must be appropriate.
Be certain to put all quoted (word for word) material in quotation marks with a citation after the quoted material. Also include citations for any material that you summarize in your own words from the article.
The article examines opinions and research on both sides of the issue. In an essay, choose one side and defend your opinion using information from the article to support your position.
Do not use \”I\” in your essay.
There must be a well defined introduction, outlined thesis and conclusion in the last.

Writing Prompt:
In the first half of this course, we have considered the African diaspora from 1400 until the 1800s. Drawing on the assigned readings (including websites) and lectures, what impact did the slave trade have on the black experience in this period? You must cite these readings. Any form of citation is acceptable, as long as it is clear which readings you are referencing. No outside sources. Please also include a bibliography.

You must address the assigned readings from the first part of the semester. You do not have to consider all of the readings for the whole first half of the semester, but you should use as many as possible to support your argument. You may also use the lectures; however, it is imperative that you discuss the readings.

Your outline should be typed, double-spaced, 12 point font, and follow handout directions. 1. Identify an engineering material failure from your everyday life

Select and present evidence that you think would support what you wrote. The evidence should in quotations from the poem and references to specific images, symbols, and metaphors from the poem. Be sure to explain how the evidence you chose supports what you wrote.
