Topic:	In Assignment 2: Application, you will address the same issue from an applied perspective: What is being done to address this problem? Is there a consensus about how to improve this problem, or is there a great deal of controversy? What solutions have already been tried for this problem? How successful have these solutions been? What are the barriers to solving this problem? What resources are available in YOUR community to deal with this problem? Future approaches to the problem How will this problem be addressed in the future? How successful are these solutions likely to be?

This course is comprised of a series of Individual Project assignments that will contribute to a Key Assignment submission at the end of the course. Each week, you will complete a part of a document that is designed to solve a management problem.

You will select a project as the topic for the analysis, which you will execute and document in this course. The project should represent a management problem that you will solve through research and application of knowledge and skills that you have gained in the courses taken in your program of study. This is the course’s Key Assignment that you will make contributions to each week.

Assignment Details

For the assignments in this course, you will be developing a Management Problem Analysis document that identifies a management problem and works through a formal research and analysis method to provide a proposed solution to the problem. Your first task in this process will be to select a project to use as the basis of your research and analysis for each of the assignments in the course. You will also create the shell document for the final project deliverable that you will be working on during each unit. As you proceed through each project phase, you will add content to each section of the final document to gradually complete the final project deliverable. Appropriate research should be conducted to support the development of your document, and assumptions may be made when necessary.

The project deliverables are as follows:

Within the Discussion Board area, write 500-700 words that respond to the following questions with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. This will be the foundation for future discussions by your classmates. Be substantive and clear, and use examples to reinforce your ideas.

 

Based on your business and education experience, you have identified a business issue that impacts your organization. Prepare to discuss this issue with fellow business analysts.

In response to your fellow business analysts, you will focus attention on other impacts and unintended consequences.

Entine and Jennings (Case 3.3, p. 104) note that there are eight questions that should be answered about a company to determine the character of its soul:

1. Does the company comply with the law?
2. Does the company have a sense of propriety?
3. How honestly do product claims match with reality?
4. How forthcoming is the company with information?
5. How does the company treat its employees?
6. How does the company handle third-party ethics issues?
7. How charitable is the company?
8. How does the company react when faced with negative disclosures?

Develop a blog aimed at assessing corporate social responsibility. Be sure to address the following:

• Contrast the Entine and Jennings’ views with those of Friedman and Freeman, found within your text.
• What is the difference between Entine and Jennings’ eight questions and traditional measures of social responsibility?
• Would the model mean that Fannie Mae could be labeled an “honest” company? Why or why not?

Post two 500-word essays answering these two questions: 1) Which source, the recollections, the photographs, the newspaper articles, or the manuscript census, is most useful for understanding the nature of immigrant life?  Which type of primary source tells us the most about immigrants?  2) Was anti-immigrant sentiment based largely on fears of economic competition or simply racism?  Put another way: What was the root fear behind the anti-immigration movement?

Write a full proposition to a private lender or investor why should the invest into your new real estate company? Make a chart that will show company profit for the next 6 months. Explain and sell yourself..

Part 2

1.What are the advantages and disadvantages of being the first mover in an industry? Are buyer-switching costs the most important factor to becoming the first mover? Give some examples of first and late mover firms. Which were the most successful? Why?

2.The United States has been part of NAFTA since 1994. Since its inception, do you think NAFTA has helped the United States’ corporate strategy? Why, or why not? Defend your answer.

Use grade level 6 and research critical literacy instructional strategies (looking at both reading and writing).  Chose a text from Appendix B of the Common Core standards.  From your selections and research, create a chart that includes 10 strategies that you can use to help your student construct meaning through critical literacy using the text to illustrate the strategy.

Describe an activity to be used with each strategy on your chart

Use grade level 6 CCRS related to Measurement and Data.  Using the Class Profile, create one lesson plan with instructional activities that:

1. Makes comparisons;
2. Uses models of measuring units;
3. Uses measuring instruments; and
4. Represents and interprets the data.

Review the three videos of teachers teaching measurements and data.

Write a 250-500-word review of what you observed regarding the use of instructional steps in teaching measurement and alignment to the CCRs.

Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines

Review the assignment instructions for your Final Paper found in Week Five of your online course or in the “Components of Course Evaluation” section of this guide. This assignment will include a thorough outline of your Final Paper, which you will build on to complete the final assignment.

Provide a thorough introductory paragraph that summarizes your topic and includes a succinct thesis statement. Outline each of the topics and subtopics and detail how they pertain to the questions noted in the instructions.  Include an annotated bibliography of at least five scholarly sources. For each source, provide a complete reference, a brief description, and a rational statement that explains how it is pertinent to your paper and supports your findings. Writing the Final Paper Outline and Annotated Bibliography

This assignment:
