3. Click on “Race Timeline” on the right menu and then click on “Explore Timeline.” You can select a time period or a theme to explore. Choose two time periods and two themes. Describe your selections. After reading all the information, what have you learned about race?

4. Choose a site that you thought was interesting. Please do not use Wikipedia or similar
sites. Identify and describe the site. What have you learned about race from this site?
Section III. Select one of the three main sociological theories we have discussed in class (functionalist, conflict, or interactionist—review chapter 1 if needed).
5. How does what you have learned about race relate to the theory you selected?
