WK 6.2 – Summarizing, Paraphrasing, and Quoting
Use MLA or APA guidelines to give credit to information that is not your original thought. Post your first discussion response no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, and all other responses to peers should be posted no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday of each week. Your original response should have a minimum of 150 words. You should read and respond to at least two of your peers’ posts.

Summarizing
•Identify a chapter from Gladwell’s Outliners.
•Summarize the whole chapter in one paragraph.
Paraphrasing
•Select an interesting passage of two (2) to three (3) sentences from the same chapter and carefully paraphrase it in your own words.
Quote
•Identify a key sentence in the chapter and construct a sentence of your own that introduces and appropriately quotes it.
