For this week’s IP assignment you are completing a Powerpoint presentation. Your Powerpoint should use between 12 and 15 slides. Review PowerPoint guidelines if you are not sure of the recommended way to set up the slides. Also refer to the PowerPoint Lab in the Learning Center, if needed. Make sure to list your References in your Final slide (as well as include in-text citations on slides where references have been used), at least three scholarly sources should be used (course textbook, Muse material, live chats, Intellipath nodes, scholarly online sources, or sources from the AIU library are all appropriate sources for your presentation).
The Powerpoint is a “mock” presentation, in which you present your ideas about an upcoming business merger for company management. Your task is to show management how to build a strong working partnership with the international business the company is planning to merge with; the international business is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia while your company is based in Houston, Texas. You should focus your slides on comparing/contrasting cultural differences in language, religion, forms of address, holidays, other time off, dress, and food. You should also indicate in your slides specific methods/ways to build a strong working partnership with this company, despite cultural differences. Use the Notes area of PowerPoint for your narrative textual information, with restricted use of text on the slides themselves.
