While companies must tailor their strategy-executing approaches to their particular situation, there are eight managerial tasks which are common elements in executing strategies. Review the eight components of strategy execution and develop a PowerPoint presentation which applies each of these components to an organization of your choice.  Include at least three visual elements such as charts or graphs to complement your presentation.

Consider the following while developing your PowerPoint presentation:

• Discuss what is involved in performing the eight key managerial tasks that shape the process of implementing and executing strategy.
• Explore building resource strengths and organizational capabilities including: marshaling resources, instituting strategy-facilitating policies and procedures, adopting best practices, installing operating systems, and tying rewards to the achievement of good results.
• Explain what role a company’s culture plays in executing these managerial tasks.

Write a 700- to 900 word section for your business model and strategic plan in which you add your strategies and tactics to implement and realize your objectives, measures, and targets.
Include marketing and information technology strategies and tactics.
Develop at least three methods to monitor and control your proposed strategic plan, being sure to analyze how the measures will advance organizational goals financially and operationally.
Explain the ethical issues faced by the organization, summarize the legal and regulatory issues faced by the organization, and then summarize the organization’s corporate social responsibility.
Develop a 350-word page executive summary defining the new division of existing business. Share your Vision, Mission, final business model, value proposition and list your key assumptions, risks, and change management issues. Quantify the growth and profit opportunity and planned impact on various stakeholders

Scenario No. 3: Institutional Code of Ethics

 

Project Assignment: Codes of ethics are standards that outline how individuals or groups of people are to act. The healthcare/medical community has its own code of ethics, which is outlined in the American Medical Association’s Code of Medical Ethics. Review the following:

Then, prepare your Final Paper by analyzing the issues through these steps:

 

Analyze the specific requirements of a code of ethics.

Identify three critical elements of the AMA’s code that you believe are most important.

Examine the differences and similarities between the AMA’s Code of Medical Ethics requirements and the code requirements of the three hospitals that you researched.

Explain why certain individuals and/or groups (please name these) should follow a hospital’s code of ethics.

 

 

Writing the Final Paper

The Final Paper:

 

 

Must be eight to ten double-spaced pages in length, excluding title and reference pates, and formatted APA style

 

 

• Must begin with an introductory paragraph that has a succinct thesis statement.
• Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought.
• Must end with a conclusion that reaffirms your thesis.
• Must use at least eight scholarly sources that were published within the past five years, including a minimum of four from academic journals found in the Ashford University Library.
• Must document all sources in APA style

This week, one of the areas you have been reading about is the importance of managing quality within an organization. Despite how efficient and low cost a business might be, if the quality of its product is low or its customer service is non-existent, it will not likely succeed in the long run. Consider what you have learned about making quality a part of the entire planning and implementation process. In particular, recall the approaches to quality improvement supported by Deming and Juran that were introduced in your reading.

Compare and contrast the Deming and Juran approaches to quality improvement. Consult resources in addition to your textbook for more in-depth information on their philosophies of quality. If you wish, you may also do some outside reading and discuss Phillip Crosby as well.

1.  How has Englehardt’s concept of “victory culture” been reflected in war toys, films & TV series since WWII?  (Be sure to cite specific examples from the 3 periods discussed in the book:  the peak, fall and potential revival of the “victory culture” since World War II.)

2.  Why was the Vietnam War (1965-73) such a devastating loss to the American national-collective psyche whereby America — both as a society and in our military — suffered from what could be called a national “Vietnam syndrome” since the Fall of Saigon in 1975?  In what ways has the U.S. recovered or not, since its victory in the 1990-91 Persian Gulf War and through its military interventions overseas after 9-11?

 

3.  Compare & contrast the U.S. military action in, and U.S. domestic popular support of American intervention in Vietnam (1965-73) & Iraq (2003-11).

This week, we covered several topics pertaining to the implementation phase of the policymaking process. The budget as an implementation tool and how budget allocations reflect policy decisions were examined. Then, we discussed the critical role of monitoring and evaluation in ensuring that the public interest was being served. Finally, democratic approaches to public administration were reviewed within the context of how advances in technology, specifically in e-government, can be useful in that effort.

Review the concept of e-government and how the use of technology has transformed many public sector processes. Explain how each of the policy goals (equity, efficiency, liberty, and security) has been influenced by the implementation of e-government practices. Address how budget allocations towards e-government and technology services reflect policy and influence attainment of targeted outcomes. Support your answers with examples not previously offered in the lecture notes, i.e., from personal experience or research sources.

The assignment (2:

• Describe three factors that might contribute to disproportionate minority contact or confinement (DMC) and explain how.
• Describe at least two approaches that might decrease DMC in the criminal justice system and explain how.
• As a current or future criminal justice professional, describe two strategies you might employ to prevent DMC in the future, and explain why you selected these strategies.

Support your Application Assignment with specific references to all resources used in its preparation. You are to provide a reference list for all resources, including those in the Learning Resources for this course.

How to create a proposal for a company..

Many accounting and accounting-related professionals are skilled in financial analysis, but most are not skilled in manufacturing. This is especially the case for process manufacturing environments (for example, a bottling plant or a chemical factory). To provide professional accounting and financial services, one must understand the industry, its product, and its processes. As accountants, we have an ethical responsibility to develop this understanding before offering services to clients in these areas. Discuss how you would obtain an understanding of key business processes of a company that hires you to provide financial services. How is this different from completing an audit?

Think of the prison as a criminal justice organization. How does political power play out among life staff, supervisors, and administrators? Do inmates participate in the political structure?
