Part 2 of the final project, you are to develop communication strategies and write a communication plan for your health care organization.

Part 2, the Communication Plan should include the following components:

1. Types of internal and external communication networks
2. Stakeholder analysis
3. Media methods
4. Tag lines, logos, photos, etc.
5. Letterhead, newsletters, etc.

For Part 3 of the final project, you are to conduct a market analysis for your health care organization and develop a marketing plan. The market analysis should address the following:

1. External environmental analysis
2. Internal environmental analysis
3. Strategic choice and strategic goals
4. SWOT analysis
5. How will marketing initiatives involve cross-functional team members?
6. How and when will marketing strategies be evaluated?

For Part 4 of the final project, you are to develop a community outreach plan for your health care organization. The community outreach plan should answer the following questions:

1. What methods will be used to engage the attention of and involve community members in the accomplishment of your organization’s goals?
2. How will community diversity issues be addressed?

Imagine you are a service-disabled veteran and have made your hobby of building model airplanes into a small business that produces very small remote control aircraft capable of long sustained flights. You are ready to expand your business by competing for Department of Homeland Security contracts.

Write a two to three (2-3) page paper in which you:

1. Determine at least three (3) specific programs created by Congress that benefit your business.
2. Analyze the small-business programs created by Congress and provide details of how they will benefit your company over large multinational organizations that build aircrafts (e.g., Lockheed Martin).

Assignment 1: LASA 2: Change Management (MAKE SURE TO COMPLETE ATTACHED TEMPLATE!!!)

For many companies, change is a constant thing. A company that can smoothly navigate organization change is one that is more nimble and better able to meet market demands for products. In this assignment, you will develop a change management plan that is similar to what a business today might use to implement change.

Assume you are the supervisor of a product development team that designs cell phone applications for your company’s newest cell phone. Unfortunately, this model has not been performing well in the market and your company has decided to discontinue production.

Your team is being asked to discontinue their current operations and move to the design and development of applications for a new smart phone. This will require new skills and experience that some of your team members do not possess. In addition, management has asked for a shortened timeline meaning your team will have to put in considerable overtime hours.

You are to develop a change management plan for leading your team through these changes, including reorganization. You will review your plan with your boss.

Research change management plans using your textbook, the Argosy University online library resources, and the Internet. Select at least two authoritative resources, one of which may be your text, to use in this assignment. Be sure to use real-world situations when presenting examples in your response.

Working With Employees: An I/O Commentary on Real World Problems

This required Portfolio assignment will give you experience observing and interacting with people outside of the classroom. It has been designed to provide you with the opportunity to develop skills, synthesize knowledge, and integrate learning in a real world setting. This assignment accomplishes that goal by challenging you to:

· Identify common challenges and issues that arise in the workplace

· Evaluate strategies for addressing these challenges

· Integrate your findings with evidence-based literature from journal articles, textbook, and additional scholarly sources.

Objective: This assignment is designed to help you identify common problems that managers face when dealing with employees, and the solutions that managers use in an attempt to solve those problems. This assignment will also give you an opportunity to evaluate the efficacy of the solutions from a practical perspective and from the perspective of research in Industrial/Organizational psychology.

Step 1: Identify and create someone who is a manager. This should be someone who is responsible for recruiting and/or selecting employees, supervising employees, and evaluating employee performance.

Step 2: Pretent and conduct a 30-minute interview with the manager. In your interview, be sure to cover the following questions:

· What are some of the common problems that you have experienced with employees? Be sure to steer the discussion toward relevant topics such as recruitment, employee selection, employee motivation, employee training, job attitudes, giving feedback, creating incentives, managing conflict, and so forth.

· Identify two major problems that the manager mentions and ask how he or she has responded to those problems. What solutions has the manager tried? Have the solutions worked?

Step 3: Using scholarly sources such as your textbook and professional journal articles that you find in the University Library, research the two problems mentioned by the manager. What does the field of I/O say about these types of problems or issues? What recommendations might you make to the manager?

Document your interview and your library research in a 1,050- to 1,150-word paper. Your paper should consist of the following parts:

· An introduction, describing the individual that you interviewed and his/her position

· A summary of the interview focusing on the two major problems and attempted solutions

· A scholarly commentary with recommendations from the perspective of I/O psychology

Be sure to include at least five scholarly references in your paper. Provide a list your specific interview questions as an Appendix. Format your paper according to APA guidelines.

Select a government agency (local/state/federal) and develop a four- to five-page APA-style paper summarizing the following:

Explain how the debt capacity of the governmental entity is determined.
Evaluate the effect of refunding or reorganizing existing debt obligations.
Analyze various funding alternatives that can be used to support debt obligations.

1. Present a ratio analysis of your Study Company using data for the most recent year and the previous year. Your final product should be an 8–12-page paper in Word format, not including the title page, abstract, or reference page, utilizing a minimum of 6 scholarly sources. Apply APA standards to citation of sources.

Recently, the idea of cheating has gotten much attention in the world of sports, entertainment, and politics. Many celebrities have been accused of gaining a competitive edge through dishonest means. While cheating has mainly been publicly condemned, there are many that feel there are times when cheating can actually be a way of making things better. They believe there is nothing wrong with making yourself a better athlete, entertainer, or politician if what you have done makes the event more entertaining, or assists the greater good. Do you feel that there are times when cheating is acceptable, or is cheating never justified? In a detailed essay, articulate your position on whether cheating is always wrong.
