In this assignment, you will research specific cases, describe the essence of each case, and critically analyze how each relates to the practice of forensic psychology.

Tasks:

• Select one case for each of the following six legal areas:
  • CST

Conduct individual research from professional literature to critically analyze the essence of the selected cases in forensic psychology. Note that professional literature may include the Argosy University online library resources, relevant textbooks, peer-reviewed journal articles, and websites created by professional organizations, agencies, or institutions (.edu, .org, and .gov). Present your choices, as well as your critical analysis of the essence of each case, in 2- to 3-paragraphs in a Microsoft Word document.

Write a three to four (3-4) page paper in which you:

Determine two (2) emerging trends in the external environment that prompted General Electric (GE) Healthcare to develop a new strategy for the production and marketing of a low cost Electroencephalography (EEG) machine in bottom of the pyramid markets (BOP).

Examine two (2) internal barriers GE Healthcare faced when developing its BOP market in India and determine the manner in which they hindered GE Healthcare’s growth in this market segment.

Analyze two (2) of the significant external barriers that GE Healthcare faced when trying to meet its marketing goals in the Indian market. Propose two (2) ways to address these barriers.

Analyze the specific steps GE took in developing its strategy to grow its BOP market. Determine the manner in which those actions apply to the principles of strategic thinking and strategic planning.

Measuring crime can be a difficult process. By its very nature, crime is something that goes undetected. Law enforcement has developed a variety of techniques to track crime, such as police reports and victim reports. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) uses the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program for tracking crime; it reports crime in more than one way. All crime reporting and tracking systems categorize crime and have certain limitations.

Measuring crime involves tracking statistics such as demographic information and moderator variables related to the crimes. Moderator variables are any third variable in a correlation that affects the relationship between the first two variables. For example, we may find that gender is related to violent crime with a higher percentage of males engaging in violent behavior. However, a moderator variable would be age, with the highest percentage of violent offenders being below the age of 30.

Select a crime and write a report addressing the following:

• Summarize the statistics from the last two reporting years. Be sure to include demographic information such as ethnicity, race, age, gender, marital status, employment status, socioeconomic group, etc., and moderator variables related to the crime.

The product that I will develop for North America and the rest of the world is called Snapbac. This company develops and manufactures compression garments, which comes in shirts, shorts, elbow and knee garments. Snapbac is not only a compassion garment but it also inquires heat and cold pods that can be inserted into the garment to increase circulation and fasten the healing process by two times the time of the regular compression garment. Hot and cold temperatures do different things to your body, and should be used at different times. Cold therapy reduces swelling by slowing blood flow and circulation, and is generally best within 24-48 hours of an injury. If you leave the cold compress in place for more than 20 minutes, you could actually irritate your injury, so make sure to take 10-minute breaks in between sessions. In contrast, heat therapy increases blood flow and oxygenation, and relaxes muscles and tendons, thereby improving flexibility
