You are a crime scene investigator on a homicide crime scene in which a body was located in an abandoned warehouse. This warehouse has not been in use for a long time, and there are signs of recent temporary living arrangements, making the job of searching and recovering evidence rather difficult for you and your team. It is up to you to explain the crime scene preservation responsibilities to the new rookie investigators.

You are a senior member of an arson investigation unit. You are being supported by newly assigned criminal investigators from a street crime unit, who do not have much experience in the investigation of arson crimes. These new investigators will be doing the interviewing of arson suspects. You have been asked by the agency director to provide a white paper for dissemination to the new investigators. The paper will contain the required components that differentiate arson from an accidental fire. Further, you must explain to the new investigators in the paper the various types of economic and psychological motives that exist, so they may best plan their interviews with the arson suspect.

Staffing technology, software and websites have changed the face of staffing. These tools aid recruiters to manage openings and applications in an organized way. But it also leads to complaints by applicants that robots read their applications and resumes; it dehumanizes the staffing experience, making it mechanical and impersonal. Assignment 2: Calibrate Global M-Channel Composition

Global marketing managers, in creating the global marketing channel, must combine domestic home country intermediaries with foreign host country channel members. You will design a marketing channel in this assignment.

Select a domestic home country company and physical product brand from Business Week’s “Best Global Brands” issue.

• Choose a foreign host country target market from a global country data directory source.
• Identify specific global marketing channel functions required to distribute the selected product from the domestic company location to a home country trade port to be shipped to the chosen foreign country.
