“How do you measure a potato?” That is the legendary question that Endel Tulving is said to have used to stump his first-year psychology graduate students (Ellsworth & Gonzalez, 2003). The students would come up with a wide variety of creative answers: You can weigh it, compute its volume, measure the water content, describe its chemical properties, and others. This list would grow quite long until, eventually, students would have the hoped-for lightbulb moment: You can’t accurately measure something until you have clearly expressed what it is that you want to know about it. In other words, you can’t design an appropriate research project until you have composed a specific research question.

So far throughout this course, you have been looking at different facets of the company from database needs and options to website needs and options. For your Milestone Four assignment, you will be looking at hardware and software needs and hardware and software options. You will be using the Milestone Four section of the template to complete this assignment. Begin your response by explaining why it is important to consider the current IT infrastructure when integrating new e-commerce features to a website (the specifics of which you looked at last module). Discuss how the business’s current IT affects the costs of data storage and processing. You should also discuss how the current business’s current IT affects customer satisfaction with the purchasing experience.

Next, explain the hardware and software infrastructure currently in place at Sharpe Style. The glasses may be used as a radar detector, and police radio scanner. Fans wanted to welcome Big Bad Dude home by gathering at the Airport when he arrived and to express their support for his candidacy. Airport is a large international airport, which serves several major airlines and has five concourses with numerous gates, parking lots and grassy knolls. The planned welcome home gathering would involve about 200 enthusiastic fans and a 15 minute speech by Big Bad Dude to the group about his political views and his new product.
