Part 1: Instructional Plan Design

*This course covers two general topics. The first deals with a variety of legal, social and institutional dimensions of the environment within which business is conducted. This will include the relationship between business and the natural environment within which business operates, the relationship between business and the values of the society, the legal and business context within which we find “ethics” in today’s workplace – corporate ethics programs, the Federal Sentencing Guidelines for Organizations, Sarbanes-Oxley, and other business regulations, and the relationship between business, society and Jesuit values.
