Assignment Overview
This case assignment focuses on hypothesis 2. The convention is that you start with the key effect on your DV (the right side of the model), and move your way to the left side in future modules. This hypothesis can be based on two sources of data: (1) overarching theories which have been applied in other or similar contexts, and now you adapt them to your specific context; or (2) existing studies which showed such or similar effects, but did not anchor them in theory. If the latter is the case, you should theorize, using your own logic, why you expect such an effect.

Regardless, you should first find the relevant literature (SLP), and synthesize it (case).

Assignment Overview
Please read and reflect on the papers you identified in the SLP assignment, and synthesize them to produce the text leading to hypothesis 2. Follow a structure you have seen in one or more of the published research papers you reviewed. Conclude this section with the hypothesis statement.

different cities that you did not review in class. While you are watching, think about what influences
people’s risk of acquiring HIV and issues of stigma and discrimination. Try to focus your attention on
the human rights issues around HIV/AIDS, including stigma. You will turn in a 2-3-page typed, doubled-paced paper with your analysis. Note similarities and differences in the profiles across countries.
Additionally, answer the questions: What messages resonated with you? How can we reduce
discrimination and empower people living with HIV/AIDS to live healthier and happier lives? Please

professionals in the field to ensure the accuracy and quality of the article, which is ideal when writing an Article Critique.
Research Tip: When researching using the databases, you can limit your search to only peer reviewed articles. To do this,
look for the phrase “limit results,” and select “peer reviewed articles.”
Once you have selected your article, follow the below criteria:
 There is a minimum requirement of 500 words for the article critique.
 Write a summary of the article. This should be one to three paragraphs in length, depending on the length of the
article. Include the purpose for the article, how research was conducted, the results, and other pertinent
information from the article.
 Discuss the meaning or implication of the results of the study that the article covers. This should be one to two
paragraphs. This is where you offer your opinion on the article. Discuss any flaws with the article, how you think it
could have been better, and what you think it all means.
 Write one paragraph discussing how the author could expand on the results, what the information means in the
big picture, what future research should focus on, or how future research could move the topic forward. Discuss
how knowledge in the area could be expanded.
Cite any direct quotes or paraphrases from the article. Use the author\’s name, the year of publication and the page
number (for quotes) in the in-text citation. Use APA format.

For this assignment you must research a TERATOGEN. The Teratogen assigned to me was RUBELLA. You must follow the instructions carefully using the uploads I have provided. My teacher always says its very important after completion to read the rubric carefully at the back to ensure success. I took pictures of the assignment which I have uploaded for you to view, I also uploaded the same picture found in the instructions on a word document so you can view it in detail and colour. For the most part it looks as though you need to make a visual as seen in the instructions, my teacher said you probably won\’t be able to find the visual online, plus I believe that would be plagiarizing so if you can\’y find it online you need to research the indivisual things and make a time frame yourself. Do the visual for me using whatever program you want as long as it is visually appealing and I would be able to open and view it.
