Conduct a literature search to locate research articles focused on a practice problem of interest. This literature search should include both quantitative and qualitative peer research articles to support your practice problem or issue of interest in 350-750 words.

Identify six peer research articles which will be utilized through the next 5 weeks as reference sources. Create a reference list in which the six articles are listed. Beneath each reference include the article\’s abstract. The completed assignment should have a title page and a reference list with abstracts.

Suggestions for locating qualitative and quantitative research articles from credible sources:

Use a library database such as CINAHL Complete for your search.
Using the advanced search page check the box beside \”Research Article\” in the \”Limit Your Results\” section.
When setting up the search you can type your topic in the top box, then add quantitative or qualitative as a search term in one of the lower boxes. Research articles often are described as qualitative or quantitative.
To narrow/broaden your search, remove the words qualitative and quantitative and include words that narrow or broaden your main topic. For example: Diabetes and pediatric and dialysis. To determine what research design was used, review the abstract and the methods section of the article. The author will provide a description of data collection using qualitative or quantitative methods.

Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.

Settings in which the observations have occurred so far include the university pre-school, affluent local day-care centers, and a pre-kindergarten program being offered in the neighborhood school district. All of these settings were fairly racially homogenous.

Daphne has just learned that a friend of a friend can help her gain research access in the near future to preschoolers in an unusually racially diverse but impoverished preschool setting. The history of any subject is of great importance. Although psychology is a relatively ‘new’ science compared to, for example, medicine, it is rooted in ancient history. The Impact of Technology on the New and Old Generation

Now that you have had some practice \”reconstructing\” the defeated south on a local level, try to remake the whole south. The US government has put you in charge of the southern recovery.

PARAGRAPH #1: What to do with 4 million newly freed slaves. Institute at least 5 policies to deal with the new freed slaves, keeping in mind most of them are uneducated, poor, and without their own land or equipment to work it. Explain why each of these policies is needed and why they will help.

PARAGRAPH #2: What to do with 10 million ex-Confederate citizens who are angry, disaffected and now without their slaves. Institute at least 5 policies to deal with them to reunite the country and prevent an extension of the Civil War with small bands of rebels breaking the law and otherwise acting as insurgents and terrorist. They must be mollified somehow. Explain why each of these policies is needed and why they will help.

And this week we study the rise of \”White Supremacy\” as a force in the south keeping ex-slaves from becoming full and true citizens of the US. In this journal we put ourselves in the place of those who would fight these views of racial superiority.
