Write a 3-4 page paper in which you:

1. Give an example of the measures, you believe, the government or society can implement to deter these types of crimes.
2. Using the categories presented in chapter two (2) of the textbook, categorize the type of modern attack(s) or computer crime(s) that were committed in this case.
3. Identify the technologies that exist to deter or reduce the threat of these types of computer crimes, and determine the effectiveness of these technologies to deter this specific crime.
4. Summarize similar success stories by similar government agencies within the U.S. and include the criminals that were caught, the agencies (if any) that were involved, and the sanctions or charges the criminals faced.
5. Use at least four (4) quality resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar Websites do not qualify as quality resources.

In this assignment, you will conduct a broad analysis of your study company using multiple financial ratio categories to assess the sustainable growth rate. Taking the role of an educational consultant, develop a presentation about your study company. Address the following:

• Present a ratio analysis of the study company using data for the most recent year and the previous year. Show formulas and steps to generate each ratio.
• Write an analysis of the ratios and the conclusions that can be drawn by comparing the metrics of the company for the two years.
• Calculate the sustainable growth rate using the financial data for the most recent year for the company. Show the inputs and the steps to generating the result.
• Explain the meaning of the metric.

Develop an eight- to ten-slide presentation in PowerPoint format.

The purpose of the Final Project is to demonstrate your ability to conduct an abbreviated literature review on a forensic psychology topic of your choosing and report your findings from the literature review.

Your Final Project should include 12–15 research articles on your chosen topic and should be empirically based. The articles also should represent contemporary findings on your topic and come from peer-reviewed journals. Your Final Project should end with a summary of the major findings from your literature review and your recommendation of possible future directions that research on your chosen topic may cover.

A superior Final Project demonstrates breadth and depth of knowledge, and critical thinking appropriate for graduate-level scholarship. The paper must follow APA Publication Manual guidelines and be free of typographical, spelling, and grammatical errors. The paper should be 10–12 pages, not counting the title page, abstract, or references. Please note that quantity does not always correspond to quality, and a well-written Final Project that includes all of the necessary information can be accomplished in fewer than the maximum number of pages. Please note that you must use primary sources. Peer-reviewed journal articles should make up the bulk of your references (80% or more). In other words, you may use non-peer reviewed and non-empirically based material in addition to your 12–15 peer-reviewed, empirically based journal articles. If referring to a book as one of your non-peer reviewed, non-empirically-based sources, be sure to include all information in APA style, including specific page numbers. Note that an article referred to in a book is a secondary source and does not count as one of your peer-reviewed, empirically-based articles. You must go directly to the original source for your 12–15 peer-reviewed, empirically based articles.

Locate an article of your choice that is about a current issue in juvenile justice. Write a summary and analysis of the article, and make sure to cite the article in APA format and include a link. The requirements for your article summary and analysis are:  100 word summary and 200 word analysis (300 words total).  Double spaced, Times New Roman 12 pt. font.  Refer to the grading rubric on the next page.  Be sure to read the grading criteria by which your paper will be evaluated before you write the paper and again after you write your paper.

1. What are some of the historical events that shaped the formation of the U.S. federal government? Select one event you think had a major effect on the federal government. How does this event affect U.S. citizens today?

2. Who were some of the early philosophical contributors to U.S. government? How did their ideas help shape the current government of the United States?

3. What is the main function of the legislative branch? What role does the executive branch play in the formation of laws? Summarize how these two branches work together.

4. What is the role of the judicial branch? Who elects members of this branch? Briefly describe the judicial process.

5. Define federalism. How does federalism affect your day-to-day life? Consider these areas: transportation, education, technology, or the environment, for example.

Do some research on your own about an endangered species of your choice. It can be either a plant or an animal. Consider the biological, ethical, and economic aspects that have led to the endangerment as well as their role in protecting the species. Then, during the week, be sure to address the following:

• In a short paragraph (5-7 sentences) describe the species that you chose to learn more about and describe the basic reasons for its endangerment.
• What characteristics make some species more vulnerable to extinction, while others seem to thrive despite changes in their surroundings?
• How do the extinctions of other creatures affect humans directly and indirectly?
• Why are decisions about recovery and preservation of these creatures so complicated?
• What, if any, ethical responsibilities do we have to other creatures on the planet?
• What sorts of trade-offs would you be willing to make in order to help protect an endangered species? Would you make the same trade-offs for all types of species including plants, insects, amphibians, etc., in addition to those we tend to be more fond of, like whales, tigers, and koalas?
• Later in the week, compare your chosen organism to some described by your classmates. Do they share any common features? For example: Are they endangered for the same reasons? Do they share similar habitats or behaviors?

: Analysis

For this stage, you will be analyzing a movie selected from the AFI’s 10 Top 10 list. The film you choose can be one that you have previously analyzed in this course. While you are allowed to choose a film that does not come from the AFI lists, you are strongly encouraged to email your professor to receive approval before doing so.

The analysis portion of your paper should be 1500 to 1800 words in length. You should analyze the film through the lens of one of the broad theories you have learned about in class (auteur theory, genre theory, formalist theory). Your analysis must address four main areas (contextual information, story/plot, aesthetic choices, and social/personal impact) and how these areas work together to develop the theme of the movie. As you construct your analysis, assume that your reader is not familiar with this film. Use your analysis to explain to your reader why they should watch this film.

In addition to the film you are analyzing, you must use three scholarly sources to support your arguments. Refer to the ENG225 Research Guide in the Ashford University Library for guidance and to locate your sources. Cite your sources (including the feature-length film) within the text of your paper and on the reference page. Cite your sources according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.

Your analysis must address the following components (noted in bold below):

• Contextual Information – In this area, you will provide some of the basic identifying information of the film. This includes:
  • Title
  • Director, cinematographer, major actors/actresses. Be sure to describe their roles in the overall design process.
  • Year of release
  • Type of film (blockbuster, indie, documentary, etc.)
  • Genre
• Story/Plot – In this area, you should offer a brief summary of the film, and then show how it was deployed in the narrative structure of the film. Explain the difference between the film’s story and its plot. This area can be addressed as a separate paragraph, or can be threaded throughout your analysis of the film.
• Aesthetic Choices – In this area, you will assess the efficacy of specific techniques and design elements employed in the film as they apply to the overarching narrative and theme of the film. These elements include:
  • Mise en scène (e.g., lighting, sound, composition of frame, costuming, etc.)
  • Editing (e.g., cuts and transitions, shots used, angles, etc.)
  • Technology (i.e., analyze the impact of any notable technological effects: film stock, targeted release venue, special effects, etc.)
• Social/Personal Impact – In this area, you will critically address the following questions:
  • What impact did this film have on society (i.e., politically or culturally, positive or negative)? The impact can be as major as inspiring political or social changes or as minor as inspiring the production of toys or lunchboxes.
  • How did society affect this film (i.e., what currents in society led to the creation of the film)?
  • If you are unable to find any information about the social impact of the film, explain the personal impact it has had on you.

Note: Not every bullet point under the four listed components will necessarily apply to your movie. However, you will still need to discuss each of the four main components thoroughly, which means that you may need to explain a concept even if it can’t be directly applied to your movie.

Your paper should be organized around a thesis statement that clarifies what you will attempt to accomplish in your paper, and how you will proceed. Additionally, you must conclude with a restatement of the thesis and a conclusion paragraph.
