Conduct on-line research for two different page designs for a similar product or service, such as on-line insurance advertisements, prescription advertisements and so forth. Then, using our chapter readings as your guide, analyze the design for these presentations. Report your analysis to the Instructor in a business memo format:
— Write a short memo to the Instructor, in which you analyze the purpose and execution of 2 related design elements from these sites, based on our chapter reading.
— Offer comments as to which is better and why; which is more visually appealing and why; which seems to be more reader-focused and why and so on.
— Identify the products and sites for your sources and share screen shots of the images in your document. Since research is involved, you must cite both in-text and on a References or Works Cited page appropriately.
— Save as .doc files, as Rich Text will not handle graphics well.
Your Instructor will assess your work in terms of the following, at minimum:
— demonstration of effective business document style
— effective commentary on current chapter concepts and ideas as they relate to your selections for the analysis
— grammar, mechanics, and usage
